Javed Kayani has been elected unopposed as Chairman of Pakistan Sugar Mills Association (PSMA) Punjab Zone for the next term of the office, PSMA spokesman said here on Sunday. According to a press release issued in this regard, Mr. Javed Kayani was elected Chairman during the general meeting of the association held on Saturday. All the member mills attended the meeting and reposed their confidence in Javed Kayani and assured him their full cooperation for successful functioning of the sugar industry and the association. According to the spokesman, the newly elected Chairman also assured his best efforts for the welfare of the sugar industry and to establish research and development facilities to promote better quality sugarcane and to especially look after the interests of the growers' community.
