Pakistan Sugar Mills Association Punjab Zone has criticized government's decision to ban export of sugar and allowing duty free import. Spokesman of PSMA said government should have consulted the stakeholders before taking such drastic decision. He said sugar prices in local market have not risen exorbitantly. The spokesman said policies of former Prime Minister, Shaukat Aziz have already hurt sugar industry, and it looks there are still some elements that are misguiding the present government.
